Mon, 5 May 2008 Babe and Mimi have popped in for a post-BB9 episode. We didn't want to talk trash about other folks' show so we waited until it was over... It's not too bad. BB"9", aka Scabs, seems to be the most forgettable BB yet anyways. Mimi has been turned on to Big Brother Australia, which started last week of April, and it's fantastic! It has the fun and enthusiasm we used to see from our beloved Big Brother....before BBUSA got mean and ugly. Sorry, we talk about a poop story. I thought, later, after uploading the episode, that I shoulda cut it out but oh well. It was traumatic for all and memorable. I don't know where Babe and Mimi are going with the podcast for the next couple months but maybe we'll just come on and talk about our favorite shows (there's lots coming up to yap about). I'd like to have a BBAU segment cuz its a great show. Thanks to all of our Luvas that contacted us over this hiatus: Dumblonde, Jenn from North Carolina, Sistah J, Sistah K, Tony Chen, Pheretic, Jay, and my niece Jessi (congrats on the bun in the oven Jess!). Loving the BBAU talk ladies.
Here is what I have so far as to figuring out how they do things... They have "The Daily Show" 6 days a week (varies from 30-60 minutes long), "Friday Night Live" where they show the games(90 minutes), & "The Live Eviction Show" on Sunday (90 minutes). There is no show on Saturdays. In the past the Australian public voted out a HM each week but this year the public votes to save their favorite HM. The 3 HM who get the lowest votes are nominated for eviction & the HM get to evict one of them. That's all I have figured out thus far.
My favorite character on the show is BB. That BB voice is hysterical & I love the way he dryly messes with the HM.
WOOHOO looking forward to the next podcast :)
p.s... mammograms suck UGH but they save lives!! & that Starbucks story had me rolling...
